Code of Conduct and T&Cs

Membership Terms and Conditions

New Forest Juniors Athletics Club is run entirely by volunteers who give up their time every week to support the Athletes at the club. All Athletes and parents are expected to adhere to the clubs Code of Conduct. Membership is required to be paid annually, and is non-refundable. If an athlete does not attend training for a period of three months, and you have not informed the club of any reason for this (injuries etc), we will assume that you have left the club and your place may be offered to another athlete. If you choose to come back again during the membership period, contact must be made with the club to see if there is space for the athlete in the relevant training group. If there is a reason for an extended period of absence, contact should be made with the club of this reason, with an estimated time frame for return.

We are keen to keep the club accessible for all children and as such we currently do not charge a monthly set fee. We will only charge for the sessions which the athletes attend. In order for this to continue payment of subs must be paid on a regular basis via bank transfer. Credit must be added to the athletes 'subs, no more than once each calendar month. If an athlete goes into arrears this should be cleared as soon as possible, along with sufficient funds to cover the rest of the month. If you have any concerns around payment of subs please do contact the club in confidence.

All Athletes need to ensure that they are registered for each training session, if you are unsure how to do this please do ask. All athletes are expected to compete for the club within the clubs league fixtures. There is something for everyone and all members are welcome. If there are limited spaces at training sessions, priority will be given to those athletes who regularly compete for the club.

There are 4 main leagues
- Summer Wessex Young Athletes League - Summer T&F
- Summer Youth Development League - Summer T&F
- Winter Wessex League Cross Country
- Winter Sportshall

Any athlete who chooses not renew their membership or informs the club that they no longer wish to be a member, will be removed from all closed social media and correspondence apps.
